Electroless Nickel
Electroless nickel plating
Electroless nickel plating is a versatile process used to coat both metallic and non-metallic substrates, including ceramics and glass. Our coatings are designed to produce stable, corrosion-resistant and chemically resistant surfaces with high hardness levels of up to 1000Hv. We can also produce uniform coating thicknesses in recesses and blind holes.
Our team at
Frost Electroplating has developed coatings that meet RoHS &
REACH regulations for customers who require compliance. To enhance the solderability and reduce contact resistance, we also finish
electroless nickel with immersion gold.

Our electroless nickel coating services include:
- Medium Phosphorous: providing a standard RoHS compliant finish for most applications with the option of a non-RoHS compliant mirror finish.
- High Phosphorous: offering a non-magnetic coating with high corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, and hardness up to 1000Hv.
- Immersion Gold: a thin layer of gold on top of the nickel coating to enhance electrical properties.
