RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC aims to protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in new equipment. We have invested considerable time and resources into ensuring that all our processes meet this Directive. In addition, we are actively supporting our customers in achieving compliance, in particular with the transition to lead-free manufacturing.
Environmental awareness is a key consideration for us and we constantly focus on areas such as reduction of water usage in our processes. Frost Electroplating were recently recognised by an Envirowise award for “Demonstration of Excellence” in the introduction of a waste minimisation based on continual improvement. We were selected as a good case study for others to follow.
